Climate Justice

UU Green Team members take action to remedy and mitigate climate change. We embrace new practices, ethics and values based on sustainable alternatives to guide our lives on a warming planet. We do not accept the ongoing degradation and destruction of life that human actions are leaving to our children and grandchildren. We commit to renewed reverence for life and respect for the interdependent web of all existence.

Food Justice

All life is interconnected. Ethical eating recognizes the moral consequences of our food choices. The ways our societies raise, buy, and consume our food have direct effects on the earth, plants and animals, and humans who work to make our food available.

Environmental Justice

Creating a sustainable way of life is central to the Green Team’s view of a just and compassionate world. We care for our environment so that it may sustain life for generations to come. We care for our environment because those with the least power are often the most impacted by environmental destruction.
