Gun Control Activism

Weekly Brady Bayfront Rallies
Join the Sarasota chapter of the Brady Campaign to prevent gun violence at Sarasota Bayfront, just south of the Unconditional Surrender statue. Every Thursday, from early October to mid-May, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm advocates rally to show support for the passage of sensible gun laws. Signs are provided. Bring your enthusiasm and help keep the momentum going.

Last rally this spring is Thursday, May 10, 2018. Visit the Brady Campaign website to find out the startup date in the fall.

Making a Killing: Guns, Greed and the NRA

Watch an informative movie about the NRA. “Making a Killing” is based on the true story of a special investigator who is assigned to a murder in a small South-western town, but soon finds that underneath the surface is a foundation of lies and greed that, when revealed, will rock the community to its core.

"Making a Killing" can be rented or streamed online from Amazon or YouTube.
